No Refund

I think charging £100 for ear piercing (including ear-rings) is a bit excessive. I also think you should advise the customer of the equipment you would be using before payment is taken, a needle instead of an ear gun, and maybe not open the equipment until you have spoken to the customer to see if they still want to go ahead. As you can imagine a 9 year old girl is going to be a bit anxious, so when she decided she didn't want them doing to then be advised no refunds i found it quite shocking.

I would like to clarify the refund aspect of your review. Before any equipment was opened, a consent form was provided and completed. This included a required acknowledgement confirming that consent could be withdrawn at any time, but that if sterile equipment had already been opened or prepared, a refund would not be available because these items cannot be reused.

I’m sorry that your daughter felt anxious during her appointment. A child’s comfort and consent are always my priority, which is why no piercing was carried out once she decided she did not wish to proceed.

I would also like to clarify that I exclusively perform piercings using sterile single-use needles and do not use piercing guns. I am unsure where the expectation of a piercing gun came from, but I am always happy to answer any questions about the procedure before an appointment begins.
